Chelsea have been busy in the transfer market buying Mako Marin, Eden Hazard with the likes of Hulk and Gregory van der Wiel potentially on the way, but we still haven’t resolved one very important issue and that’s the question of who will be the manager at Stamford Bridge next season?

Roberto Di Matteo is a favourite amongst the fans as he did a fantastic job since he was promoted to manager on an interim basis last season and won both the FA Cup and Champions League. However, it would seem as his chances of landing the job for next season is dwindling with each passing day.

Many believe that Pep Guardiola is the board’s preferred choice and it’s understandable why as he won 14 trophies during his four-year stint as Barcelona manager, whilst developing a side that is the envy of world football by adding quality as well as producing talent from within. We all know Roman Abramovich can be very persuasive, could he change Pep’s mind about taking a break from football?

There are those that do not rate Pep as they don’t believe he has a Plan B especially after failing to break down Chelsea in the Champions League, but I think that’s just selling our great achievement short. Some also argue that he already possessed a squad that full of world class players and they should be easy to manage, right? Easier, but Andre Villas-Boas couldn’t handle Chelsea after moving from Porto and let’s not forget the hand Pep had in producing the talent at Barca as he rose through the ranks into the manager’s hotseat.

Former England manager Fabio Capello has been linked with the job as well as the bloke who failed to succeed him Harry Redknapp, but I don’t want to see either at Stamford Bridge personally.

Below is a sample of the current names in the betting, who do you think/want to be the next boss at Chelsea and if your favourite is not there then suggest a new name in the comment section below.

As d saying goes……. Wen d desirable is not available, d available must be d desirable…. RDM manage our team even wen we’re on d brink of been a trophyless club and turn us to a European Champion… Wat else do we nid in someone dat he hasn’t shown? We all knw dat Guardiola won 14 in 4yrs, but wit d lyks of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Ibrahimovic, Henry, Puyol e.t.c anyone can achieve it…… So, my preference is RDM….. It’z not dat he lyks using dah old guards, cos we all knw d selfish act in Sturridge, n d remaining matches is not for someone of Romeu class with a club having d lyks of Mikel, Meireless n Essien….. I cn bet it wit anyone dat Guardiola can’t achieve anytin wit d champs league final squad dat RDM use to conquer Baryern…. Wit d lyks of Malouda, Kalou, Bertrand and Bosingwa…. And bside we all knw wia Romeu com from, hw many match does he playd b4 he left dia…. So I tip RDM for the Chelsea job. Tnx

Pep gardiola will flop if he enter chelsea,we a criticized by totenham dt dey a better team than chelsea bt RDM proved our critics wrong by using d less better team 2 achieve 2 trophies.I lyk his pattern of approach 2 any game we a playing, all d big name coaches chelsea av called in d past failed dem Y cnt abramovich gv ds man chance he is d man sent by God 2 deliver chelsea,d moni 2 b used in getin gardiola shuld be used in rebuilding d squad so dat RDM can options.I realy pity dt man wit d type of squad he used lst season,d only confirm attacker he has is ramires no other option,Truely he is d man 4 d job.

Someone like Hazard would have asked the question before siining a contract with us. I doubt RDM would attract Hazard and possibly Hulk.

Pep is the best man available and Chelsea has to do everything to get him. People need to think with their head. Yes, he will have to learn a new way but to write him off on the basis of your hate/envy for what he achieved at barca is stupid…represent by those above still harping for RDM can’t even spell.

Love RDM. Can’t see things go wrong for him and they will if he gets the job, and a year deal is an insult to him.
