As a move for Victor Moses seems to have stalled, Chelsea could turn to wing/forward Andre Schurrle, who plays for Germany and Bayer Leverkusen.
The Blues have already pulled of a major transfer coup this summer by signing the highly rated Eden Hazard and have also signed Marko Marin, but they’re still keen to add some attacking talent as Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou have departed the club, whilst Florent Malouda and Daniel Sturridge have also been linked with an exit.
Roberto Di Matteo has drawn up a list of four targets according to the Metro, with Wigan’s Moses and Schurrle’s names being mentioned but the article neglects to share the other names on the supposed list.
Wigan have already rejected a £4 million bid from Chelsea for Moses’ services despite the fact that the player is desperate to quit the DW Stadium and his agent Tony Finnigan has fallen out with Dave Whelan and the club, he told the Northern Echo:
“All I will say on this matter is that how did Victor Moses end up at Wigan, when he could have gone to Manchester City? Who took him to Wigan?”
There’s no doubt that this argument is set to rumble on but the club aren’t going to put all their eggs in one basket and want to keep their options open, so they’re considering a £7 million bid for Schurrle but it’s certain that Leverkusen will want closer to £15 million.
Moses impressed towards the end of last season as Roberto Martinez’s side battled bravely to avoid the drop in the Premier League. He scored six goals and made six assists.
Schurrle didn’t look the part during his start for Germany against Greece but has a decent campaign in 2011/12. The German netted nine times in his 40 appearances last season.

i hate all this rumours am hearing, personally i dont want any of them in chelsea. If chelsea want to chalenge for trophies next season; they should buy quality players. We have got marko marine and hazard, what is keeping the clup from buying hulk that we have long link to?

Schurrle would be a very smart signing for Chelsea, and in my opinion would be a steal for £15 million. Hes only 21 years old, 4 years younger than Hulk (who I don’t mind us signing either), and can play out wide or as a striker. He can also be our main striker for the future once Torres’ time at Chelsea comes to an end.
Chelsea should release malouda, kalou, Ferreira, bosingwa, turnbull, and hilario and get, jordi alba, hulk, a RB that i cant find a good one, a CM choosing among modric, moutinho, chabaye, sneijder and a striker there are also many options
Forget them, i think Mario Gotze all the way! Him, mata and hazard behind torres interlinking and changing positions – just check out videos of him on youtube and you’ll see what i mean.

chelsea play power football…so we need hulk at front to deal with some strong defenders.that guy have power like drogba.chelsea should not waste time and sign him..moses or scrl are for sub.at least we must have good bench to succeed.
