This is pure speculation mixed with a healthy dose of wishful thinking but I sincerely believe there is a real chance that Chelsea FC may yet sign this exciting talent. Although various newspapers and sports journalists have Aguero already wearing the pale blue of Man City, I am not so sure.

Ron Gourlay CEO of Chelsea spoke in Bangkok last night to inform the press that Chelsea would be making two signings over the next week to ten days (after the confirmation of the Romeu deal with Barca). OK these could be anyone but it is strange that it also coincides with the end of Copa America with European club players returning to Europe and facing the business of next season.

At one stage the clubs quoted as being realistically keen to sign Aguero were Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Man City and Chelsea. Discounting a sale to Real Madrid for obvious reasons I think it is also safe to assume that Barcelona are out of the running due to an agreed fee for Sanchez and them having to sell the young silver wear to be able to cobble a Fabregas deal together. Most probably due to his father in law Maradona’s troubled end days with Napoli over non payment of taxes and leaving Italy under less than favourable circumstances led to Aguero’s statement of last week of only wanting to play in the Premiership or La Liga. Juve a no go then.

*
City we know have been beavering away trying to put a deal together to replace a ‘want-away’ Carlo Tevez with his fellow countryman and the sports press in this country have bought into this and assumed the deal is as good as done?

Firstly, why would Aguero want to go to a club where his International team mate and friend is desperately wanting to get away from? Tevez has done nothing but bad mouth Manchester for its lack of culture and decent restaurants, so one can only assume he has had a word in his mate’s ear. Also, as having spent the last few seasons playing for Madrid’s ‘second football’ team why on earth would he want to repeat that in Manchester? Sorry City fans but just looking at this as it currently is.

The final straw to put credence to my suspicions is the latest news on our new young Genk goalkeeper signing Thibaut Coutois. A few days ago it was being reported that he had already had a medical and was being loaned out to Athletico Madrid for next season as a direct replacement for David De Gea now of United. Last night AVB was saying that our new 19 year old keeper from Genk was one for the future and although he could go to La Liga it is undecided yet, which European league would be best for his continued development? This kid was due to start training with Athletico tomorrow!

Like I said, maybe wishful thinking but it would not surprise me to see Roman do a ‘Robinho’ on City over Aguero… oh god I hope I am right because we so need that kind of signing at the moment.

“one can only assume he has had a word in his mate’s ear” (Kun with Tev)

That is absolutely correct mate if you do proper journo research. Kun has indeed had a word with Tev and Tev has said that “City are a great club and that you will have no problem settling in!” Keep on dreaming

Courtois was set to start for Atletico in training today and now it has been delayed for a few days for details to be finalised,Aguero said himself that he will sort his future out within a week and has many times said Chelsea is where he wants to play so one can assume those details are along the lines ofg Atletico get Thibs on a loan for a year(most likely 2 or 3) and Chelsea get 1st choice of Aguero we might have forwards but in my opinion id put Kalou and Anelka behind Sturridge in the pecking order with Torres and Drogbazooka fighting for Top Gun with Sturridge and Aguero flanking the main man as they can both put crosses in,they both have pace to burn and can cut in with their trickery to take shots,i will be surprised and disappointed if her doesnt side with the Blues!!on another note hopefully today Josh will play further upfield but in AVB i trust!!

Rumour in Manchester is that Aguero will sign for city this week by Thursday.

It was also rumor 2 weeks ago in the other side of Manchester that Sneijder was on his way to United, and you see where that went.

      • Lambo says:

Mate, I dont believe Sneijder go to united. much likely to go to city. Did you know City and Inter are staying in the same hotel in Dublin this weekend………………….

I presume that as far as international team mates are concerned, you have forgotten about Pablo Zabaletta, who has just signed a new three year deal with city, saying how much he is enjoying his time their and how the fans have taken him to heart? Face fact…. He’s joining city. Deal done.

he should come to chelsea.. but som players shud leave at the same point.. like anelka, drogba, kalou or sturridge.. comparing to lukaku tgis guy has already proven his worth along with torres… wat the club needs is a fancy player who hav creativity, skills, and can score who can earn the fans hearts.. and i don think avb will do some huge spending this year.. he is busy tryin to prove the talents of some old worn out players who can be managers next year!!! .. heard the news of pastore coming to chelsea.. its true that english premier league is stiff and physical, but wat we need to know is that arsenal has very few players who hav dis kinda characteristics… pastore is creative skillfull and is a fancy player like i said.. why cant we bring in som players like tat by selling some of the old players???

I think tevez will have told Aguero that MCFC is a good club to play for. Tevez has bad mouthed the city on an argentine chat show to assist in engineering a move either home, or to a culture more akin to argentina. He has never criticized the fans or the club. Kia Joorabchian has made some stupid statements in the past about ‘club executives’ but again this is to engineer a move away for personal reasons. MCFC is a community and family club and this extends to the players who engage in community initiatives. In return, they are treated with great respect and leniency by the club and special dispensation is often given to players in times of family trouble etc. As for MCFC being the 2nd club of manchester, as an MCFC fan I must say that yeah you are right…. but given the average age of our squad now, and the current ability and potential, things ought to swing our way for the first time in my lifetime in the next 2-3 years. Either way, I am very happy with MCFC regardless and I wish CFC good luck also as I would prefer them to win than MUFC haha. Only because the tag along united fans who know very little but talk a lot have had it coming for a LONG time 🙂

  7. I will love aguero to come to chelsea aguero & tevez is d best player up blues up chelsea

i also feel the same like you that Aguero will go to Chelsea, these are some of the reasons:

    1. Ron Gourlay said yesterday that they will make another two signings while when Ron Gourlay said that, Aguero’s representative is at England, meeting with Man City(or other England team)

    2. We have sent Thibaut Courtois on loan to Atletico Madrid, so this will ‘sweeten’ Aguero’s transfer to us

    3. And Aguero has said last two years i think, that he want to play alongside Torres suprisingly not at Liverpool, but Chelsea!

4 He has been our main target since last year!

Hmmm let’s look at the teams records shall we…but for fairness sake, let’s look at the teams “pre-Abramovic” eh??

    Team League FAC LC Europe
    Chelsea 1 3 2 2
    ManC 2 4 2 1

Hmmm…I guess, apart from winning another trophy in Europe, that would make us better than you!! Now onto the best team in the City…granted, we are behind Manure, but let’s have a look at Arse and Spuds (pre-Abrambovic) of course..

    Team League FAC LC Europe
    Chelsea 1 3 2 2
    Arse 12 9 2 2
    Spuds 2 8 3 3

Wow…I guess you aren’t even the second best team in London, taking money into account…I would never have guessed…

stop living in the past all that matters is now all Chelsea fans remember the Robinho incident so let’s just keep all the hate going to man useless and wait and see what happens anyone with a brain knows Tevez has had a great time at the club but wants time with his family and his biatch of a wife/ex wife wont move to Manchester Kun will decide and we will see for now it is speculation but i hope he wears Royal Blue not sky blue!!!!
