It’s been a bit of slow summer so far for Chelsea, rumours have been rife even though we’re still without a manager and probably a little way of making a signing or two, but I wanted to know what you all thought of this latest link.

There have been several reports today linking us to Barcelona’s David Villa, who may have to be sold so that the Catalan club to pay for the transfer of Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas as Pep Guardiola is working to a strict budget and a large portion of it is expected to go on Udinese’s Alexis Sanchez and Villarreal’s Giuseppe Rossi.

It’s thought that Pep would rather not have to sell one of his stars, but rumours suggest the Villa has been offered to the likes Chelsea and Manchester City to raise cash for Fabregas. The Spanish striker arrived at the Camp Nou for £34m last summer. I’m not exactly sure how much Barca are hoping to raise by selling him, but if they’re expecting us to pay more than £30m they’re being optimistic, especially for a player that is turning 30 next season.

We don’t need a 30 year old villa who will tire out in 2/ 3 years time for 30million with little or no resale value. We need d likes of sanchez 22 yrs, modric 25 yrs dat barcelona needs. We also understand d name of d game and the bussiness too.

That right, we dont need 30 year old, but i would like to see Porto´s Hulk at CHELSEA.. 😉

We are not dumping sites,Roman should whatsoeva deceit from engaging in such an arrangement. He instead should go for Aguero and Sanchez alongside Modric or Wesley Sneider if Totts prove so stubborn.

Roman always had an obsession of Villa but earlier he never wanted to play in EPL and now Torres didn’t perform as expected the half season and everybody knows that this pair gonna net the ball for #CFC!!! Its not a bad move for clubs like Chelsea or Madrid to buy a 30 year old player for 40 million!! Let Roman be happy and it would be good for our club too!! My views no hard feelings!! Thanks

The club needs to prioritise its needs for this new season. The mid field is the most important need right now. We need to strenghten our midfield with d best players we can get. That is d secret to barcelona’s and portos success.we have torres and sturidge plus drogba good enough for the attack .if d midfield is strong and mobile enough those players will produce plenty of goals. Second area of need is d defence. Terry is old , an injury can cost d team a lot , so a good backup is needed and a mobile right back is equally needed.lukaku,de bryne re future needs.
