3 things Conte learned from Chelsea’s disappointing 2-0 defeat at Tottenham

 Spirit

It wasn’t all bad on the night, though, and whilst the Chelsea players are undoubtedly disappointed with the result – it will no doubt please Conte that his squad did not give up on the night.

Under Mourinho, it could be argued that the Chelsea players didn’t care about the shirt, and when a game was nearing a loss – there was rarely any chance of a fightback.

This doesn’t appear to be the case under Conte, with the Blues fighting with every ounce of their spirit to try and get a result right up until the final minute.

Sure, it wasn’t enough on the night – but that fighting spirit and desire to win will certainly bode well for the rest of the season.
