Eden Hazard has revealed how Chelsea are “almost ready” to begin celebrating Premier League title success.
The Blues took a major step toward the crown on Sunday when Cesc Fabregas grabbed an 88th-minute winner as they restored their seven-point lead over Arsenal.
With Jose Mourinho’s side also boasting a game in hand, it seems unlikely that the Gunners will catch their West London rivals, and Hazard says it’s nearly time to break out the champagne.
“We’re almost ready to start celebrating the title. But it is not finished,” he told Canal Plus. “In the Premier League we know well that it is always difficult with a lot of points ahead.
“We have two important games coming up against Arsenal and Manchester United. If we win one of those two that would be OK.
“We are close to reclaiming the title, but it is not finished yet – there is more work to do.”
