Chelsea’s move for Newcastle striker Demba Ba could be doomed as the club isn’t willing to pay the fees the player’s representatives are demanding and the Senegalese’s own wage demands.
The west London club were in the driving seat to sign the 27 year-old when it was revealed that he would meet with the Blues to discuss a move but the talks had later been described as ‘unproductive’, as reported in Telegraph Sport.
They also suggest that Ba wants wages of £70,000-a-week, plus bonuses, and his agents want £20, which Chelsea are unwilling to pay and they offered less than the wages he requested and a standard five per cent of the player’s contract to his agents.
Although these talks appear to have broken down, this one isn’t over yet as it seems almost certain that the player wants to leave St James’ Park and will consider other options in the coming days and may opt for the best offer available. However, this may not be good enough for Chelsea who are operating with only one recognised forward and will likely want to bring in someone as quickly as possible.
There is always the option of recalling Romelu Lukaku from his loan spell at West Brom but it’s generally considered that the Hawthorns is the best place for the player at the moment and he’s in good hands with Steve Clarke.
Let him go, we’re not a bank or a get rich quick scheme.there are plenty of options around.
Don’t bother find someone else. He is ungrateful causes upset in the dressing room and his agents/family are parasites……however I don’t want to see him at Newcastle. Oh sorry please buy him 🙂

If BA and his agents are after money, that will come to a head with time. Better to go for someone who is really interested in Chelsea. Why spend on a guy who will last 3 years and isnt into Chelsea anyway?
