Chelsea beat Newcastle United 2-0 in the Premier League and have put themselves three points clear at the top of the table having played an extra game. Eden Hazard opened his Chelsea goal-scoring account with a penalty that was won by Fernando Torres and returned the favour by assisting Torres for the second.

The Belgian starred once again and earned his third man of the match award of the season but it was a solid all-round performance. We kept the ball a lot better than we did in our previous two games. John Obi Mikel and Raul Meireles put in a dominant midfield display whilst the likes of Ashley Cole and Ryan Bertrand rendered Hatem Ben Arfa anonymous.

Three points, a clean sheet, good performance and against a good side that finished 5th last season. Check out the highlights in the video below…

  4. Please the coach should try to win cups for us we are wary about that.

  5. Chelsea manager has spend lot for the term so the coach should try to win cups for us if not the sporting group would not be happy to sport term again is the coch problem.
