Tottenham are ready to make a move for Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou, who will become a free agent this summer if he doesn’t sign a new deal before the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The Ivorian has featured more regularly since Roberto Di Matteo took charge following Andre Villas-Boas’ dismissal and Chelsea are reportedly keen on offering Kalou a new deal and will talk to his representatives in relation to an offer next week.

Aside from Tottenham, AC Milan are also keeping tabs on the player’s situation at Stamford Bridge. Kalou is one of the most divisive players at the club as many fans would love to see the back of him, whilst others argue that he has something to offer (especially as a ‘super sub’) and then there are those that aren’t quite sure whether they like him or not.

Is it time for Kalou to leave Stamford Bridge or does he deserve a new deal?
