Former Chelsea winger is widely tipped to leave Bayern Munich this summer as he’s reportedly disillusioned with life in the Bundesliga club, and many believe there’s a chance he could find his way back to Stamford Bridge. A frustrated Robben recently gave an interview to German newspaper Bild:

“It cannot be said that I am 100 per cent certain I will stay with Bayern,” he said. “A lot has happened in recent weeks and I didn’t play for three games in a row. Everybody saw that. It was not the best of times.”

When asked if he will decide to turn his back on Bayern he said:

“It is not as if I have to sign a new deal next week… I still have a year on my contract with Bayern so there is no rush. You never know what happens in football – it is often very strange.”

When he was healthy the Dutchman was a star at Chelsea and many regard him as the best player that has left the club during the Roman Abramovich era, and many would love to have him back at the club.

TalkSPORT certainly seem to think that he may return to west London but also said that the Blues may receive competition for Manchester City who are also linked to the player.

Would you like to see Robben back in Chelsea blue and do you think he’d want to come back to his former club?

It will be a great boost for us (chelsea) to have Arjen Robben back in our squad. And those that included Meireres, Essien and Mikel in the list of those that will leave the club is making a very big mistake. Essien may leave because of old age but Meireres and Mikel is not good to let go they’re trying.

He would come back to Chelsea. And getting him back for £10m? It’s a no brainer. Sign him up

  3. Jenko says:

Robben and Eden hazard would blow away the opposition.

  4. Soludo Uchenna says:

Kelvin De Bryune would learn from Robben if that deal is dawn. Clear out should include Essien, Fereira, Bosingwa and Malouda. To free up space for Hazard, van dar wiel, moura, KDB and Lukaku.

  5. Gordon says:

not a chance that he is leaving Bayern. Robben is a fantastic player but also has an enormous ego and he was merely sulking because he was on the bench for 3 games. He was just returning from injury and admitted himself that he was not 100%.
