Subs: Turnbull, Bosingwa, Bertrand, Cahill, Essien, Romeu, Lukaku.

QPR team to play Chelsea:

Kenny; Hill, Hall, Ferdinand, Young; Wright-Phillips, Barton, Buzsaky; Mackie, Helguson, Smith.

Subs: Cerny, Orr, Derry, Hulse, Ephraim, Macheda, Onuoha.

Referee: Mike Dean

Venue: Loftus Road

John Terry will enter a hostile atmosphere today as it’s the first appearance he has made at Loftus Road since being accused of racially abusing QPR defender Anton Ferdinand, but Andre Villas-Boas thinks the England believes that Terry should start the game and it looks as though Gary Cahill will have to wait a little while to make his debut for the club as he is named on the bench.

Malouda starts in midfield, which is bizarre to me as we have just sent a perfectly good midfielder that actually has a future out on loan to Swansea.

Ashley Cole has been shite at left-back for ages now, but Ryan Bertrand somehow doesn’t get any chances and but for him being named on the bench you wouldn’t be blamed for thinking that Villas-Boas may have forgotten that he exists.

If you can’t distinguish the vastly different roles of Malouda and McEachran, you should not waste our time.
