It is being reported in the Italian press that Juventus are very keen to sign Chelsea’s Brazilian central defender Alex. In response the Blues have also shown a willingness to do business with the Bianconeri ‘if” the Italians are willing to consider Alex and cash for their highly rated midfielder/winger Milos Krasic. Juventus will not want to lose Krasic but may be tempted because of their deep desire to acquire the services of central defensive rock Alex.

Milos Krasic had a very influential and excellent first season for Juve last term and has quickly become a fans favourite with the famous old Serie A club. Formerly with CSKA Moscow, the 6’1″ Serbian International is already being likened to another former Juventus great Pavel Nedved.

At 26-years-old Krasic is fast approaching his prime and plays right midfield or on the wing. He is very quick and with a tremendous shot on him he is not only a regular goal scorer but his assist statistics are very impressive. Being a strong running dribbler of the ball with natural attacking instincts Krasic is certainly the type of player AVB would be very interested in and would make a fabulous addition to the Chelsea first team squad.

This coming week will see negotiations between Chelsea and the Bianconeri open but only if Roman Abramovich decides to make the cash offer (as well as Alex) tempting enough for the Italians. This transfer window could still hold a couple of surprises for the Chelsea faithful with the imminent signing of Romelu Lukaku as well as one or two other players before the window closes. At the moment Krasic is a definite possibility.

With the sale of Yury Zhirkov Chelsea are looking particularly and decidedly ‘light’ in the wide left position with only Florent Malouda to speak of. Could it be that the club go back to consider Guus Hiddink’s original recommendation of Arden Turan of Galatasary as well? Then of course the club have not given up with the ongoing saga that is Luka Modric.

I’m now not only looking forward to the Stoke game but also the close of this transfer window to see who we have finally got and who is being released.

We need someone for the left wing, we have Studge on the right (although he’s actually a natural left footer). I think Turan would be the perfect acquisition but Hazard at only 20 would be a great deal. Johnson would be good if we could make it happen but I doubt he’d come for less than 20mil.

Don’t know much about this Krasic guy. I think we should break the bank for someone like Hazard, who provides both width and creativity.

Think we need the likes of modric and turan in the club.malouda should go and anelka.we need the service of a creative and attacking midfielder

Everyone seems to be worried about losing Alex. I am a huge Alex fan and believe he has been our best central defender (when fit) since Carvalho passed his sell bye date for us.
Remember we have David Luiz to partner JT with Ivanovich as back up. After that young Nathanial Chalobah played very very well on our Asian tour and really impressed AVB. All of these guys and we are still trying for Slobodan Rjakovic’s work permit.

Also a huge fan of Alex and I think he’s our best defender when fit. If we need to move him on for whatever reason so be it.

I’d like to see Rajkovic finally get a work permit as I’m not a fan of Ivanovic at CB as he’s played most of his career as a RB and doesn’t look good in what’s supposed to be his favoured position.

Did AVB watch the Charity Shield? United was simply faster. City’s players picked up yellow cards because of late tackles. Fast & agile is better than big & strong. Most of Chelsea’ players are big, and a few in their thirties are off the pace. Chelsea must get younger, faster, and more agile, or United will win again. We need the tricky wingers!

am hapy 4Lukaku deal but AVB needs to let go of anelka, ferria or else he wld bear the consequence of their poor performance

Ferreira is an emergency fullback, what’s the point of getting rid of him? Too much undue stick towards a loyal servant of Chelsea football club.

He had one bad game last season, out of position at centre back against S’land and was still not as bad as Ivanovic, who claims he’s better in the middle. I love Ivan, but he’s an ok right-back at best.
