So that is it for another season at least, Barcelona have been crowned the best club team in Europe, after their dominant 3-1 victory over Manchester United on Saturday at Wembley. It has been yet another fantastic Champions League campaign with superb goals, classic games and records broken, which makes choosing a best eleven for this season’s competition virtually impossible. It would be too easy and predictable to have the whole of the Barcelona team in there, no matter how impressive they were, naturally though they have a few inclusions though. Fellow La Liga rivals Real Madrid also make a couple of appearances, Schalke and Tottenham Hotspur‘s unexpected success earns them an inclusion each and also there is a place for a Shakhtar Donestk star.
