There have been a few stories around lately saying that Chelsea are being made to wait on £45m-rated Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero, who won’t make a decision over his future until after the Copa America next month.

But why are we still perennially linked with this player?

Once upon a time, the Argentine forward was on Chelsea’s radar and we were apparently close to signing him but for his high wage demands back in 2009. Aguero wanted around £220,000-a-week to join Chelsea and the Blues didn’t fancy that at all, so the deal was dead.

Aguero is now heavily linked to Real Madrid and even they are raising their eyebrows over his wages, as reported in Spanish publication AS. So, as Aguero is still a greedy little bastard, I doubt anything has changed significantly for Chelsea to try and sign the player again. He’ll probably leave Atletico this summer, but I highly doubt he’ll be packing his bags for a move to west London.

As much as I’d love to see aguero at Chelsea linking up with torres again I would be quite happy not to see him in the royal blue of Chelsea. I completely agree tht he’s a greedy little shit who thinks he’s far better thn he actually is. Don’t get me wrong he’s been atleticos talisman since torres left but 220k a week?! Don’t think so, plus the £45m buy out clause. It’s very questionable.

Why? 1. Because Chelsea is big team that always link with big name, and he is still young and can be good addition to Chelsea as the second striker to support both Torres and Drogba who lead the attacking line upfront. While the style Neymar plays is Winger/Forward and Lukaku is future replacement for Drogba.
    2. The rivalry between Atletico and Real across Madrid that once Aguero himself claimed that he wouldn’t make the move to the opposite side especially the team begin with “R” letter.
    3. Real Madrid has very good attacking line; C. Ronaldo, Angel di Maria, Mezut Ozil, Gonzalo Higuain, Karim Benzema and even Kaka who want to stay the challenge in the Spanish capital. This make Real Madrid fan across the webs don’t want him.

let him rot at acletico i cant stand players who think they can play everyone of and think it wont bite them……….he should have moved to chelsea when he had the chance but for £45m and £220k a week he will be laughed at you could get neymar and lukaku for that(relasticly they wont go 4r any higher than that) you could get kaka for that and eckilson.simple fact of the matter is he tryed to pull all sutors against eachother demanded too much stayed too long thinking it would be fine and he may pay the price i cant think of a single team in the world that will/would take him now, madrid and chelsea were left disillusioned by his actions barca dont need him neither do utd, inter,ac,byern he burned all his bridge’s as far as im concerned

Chelsea should stop going for those player who are playing so hard to get and go 4 a player nani cause man united are likely to let the player go and because they need player that knows how to hold the ball and what to do with the ball.
