With reports that Neymar will favour a move to Real Madrid, Chelsea may have to turn their attentions elsewhere and could make a late entry into the chase for Udinese’s Alexis Sanchez.

Barcelona were favourites to sign the Chilean and he was up for a move to the Camp Nou, but Manchester City have reportedly trumped the Catalonians’ bid, and we all know that they are trying to stick to a strict £40m budget despite being interested in several big money signings.

Apparently, Udinese president Giampaolo Pozzo is yet to accept either Barca’s or the Citizens’ offers, which hasn’t gone unnoticed at Stamford Bridge, and according to El Mundo Deportivo, the Blues have expressed an interest in the 22-year-old.

However, the Serie A outfit’s valuation of the player is very high, a reported £44/45m, if we aren’t willing to pay that for Neymar, will we be willing to for Sanchez?

Chelsea are also linked with other big money targets, such as Radamel Falcao and Hulk, who played for Andre Villas-Boas at Porto.

I’ve read that Paul Clement has left the club and Michael Emenalo will be promoted. Do you know if there’s any proof in that Shedender?

Good move. Chelsea should bid for this guy. He’s very skillfull and he’s got pace. He can play on both wings as well as from d centre dats a strong advantage to any coach especially when your options are limited or u are one man down. Its important to have such a guy, no wonder barcelona and man united want him. Pls go for him.

if u ask me I will pick sanchez over neymar. Both players are very skillful , sanchez is more experienced, he’s played in a tougher league (serie A) , he can play on both left and right wing, he does not have a record of injuries like neymar, better character than neymar who is known for fights on d pitch.Neymar is equally skillful and good but I will pay 35m for sanchez and 30m for neymar and if possible have both players.

If Chelsea fail to sign Neymar, Sanchez will be a great signing. However if we need a left winger than the kid at Shankta Doness by the name of Wilnan another great young brazilan left attacker. Sanchez on the right Wilnan/Neymar.
