Congratulations to Chelsea Reserves, who beat their Blackburn Rovers counterparts 5-4 on penalties to win the Barclays Premier Reserve League title.

The final finished 1-1, Blackburn took the lead after Mauro Formica scored at half-time, but Todd Kane levelled the match late on. The Blues scored all of their five penalties in the sudden-death shootout and took the title after Michael Potts missed for the away side.

    A CHELSEA PLAYER ANALYSIS:
    Players that never were top quality: Ferreira, Bosingwa
    Players much slower than they once were: Terry, Essien, Lampard, Malouda, Drogba.
    Players that are over-rated: Kalou, Mikel, Zhirkov, Torres.
    Players that are under-rated: Benayoun.
    Players that are selfish in possession: Torres, Drogba, Anelka, Malouda.
    Players that should still have a long future at Chelsea: Cech, Luiz, Cole, Ivanovic, Ramires.
    Players that would inspire Chelsea: Subotic (centre back), Van De Wiel (right wing), Neymar (striker).
    -If Torres was signed in place of Neymar, the mistake must be corrected quickly.
    -A big summer clear-out will be dangerous, but brave changes are needed.
    -What about Ancelotti? A win last year, second this year – it’s not bad.

    I think Chelsea should try to appoint a manager quickly before they drag behind Manchester United next season.
    The current squad need a massive strengthening if not Chelsea will not even be able to compete for any title.
    The club need to bring in some young and talented players, especially wingers and midfielder, Chelsea do not have a good dependable attacker. No perfect number 10. Who is going to embarrass other club defense for Chelsea?
    Something need to be done before it is too late.
    The club need to keep Patrick Van Alholt as Ashley replacement next season. He is a good player.
