Didier Drogba had to be dragged away by Paulo Ferreira after the Ivorian become involved in a spat with the Chelsea fans following the 1-1 draw against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.

The 33-year-old failed to cross the ball from a late corner and drew criticism from some of the Blues fans and something obviously struck a nerve with Drogba as he decided to remonstrate with the fan(s) in question before our Portuguese fullback ushered him away.

A lot has been made of this today, most of which seems to be hyperbole in my opinion. But it’ll be interesting to hear your thoughts nonetheless…

This was a pure misunderstanding and the height of frustruation between drogba and the chelsea fan.both drogba and the fan were anxious for the winner goal but at the end it never came.this from my own point of view infuriated drogba and the fan;so it was more or less a way of expressing the anger of not seeing a goal but the media are trying to make a big deal of it.as far as i am concerned, this incident shows the loyalty and emotion of drogba and the fan to the club.

Yeah, I think it’s a big deal out of nothing and it’s just handbags.

However, a riled Drogba is not necessarily a bad thing. Hopefully he’ll react in the right way on Wednesday night…no slapping Vidic’s face (well, as long as no one can see) or anything lol.
