Arsenal’s young goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has had a dig at Chelsea player Ashley Cole after the left-back’s embarrassing penalty miss against Everton in their FA Cup 4th round replay yesterday.

On the popular social networking site Twitter the Polish shot-stopper tweeted:

“Tweeps what do you think Ashley was aiming for when he took his penalty?”

Followed by:

“Is it an aeroplane? No, its just ashley throwing chelsea out of the fa cup :D”

It’s not the first time that Szczesny has had a pop at the former Arsenal man. Shortly after Chelsea’s defeat at the Emirates the 20-year-old tweeted:

“Get in there! Great win and very important 3 goals. I must admit their left side of defence was really weak though…lol”

In my opinion there’s nothing wrong with this sort of banter, which is why I must congratulate Szczesny and Arsenal for their 1-1 draw against the mighty Leyton Orient this evening in the FA Cup.

Keep polishing that prestigious Emirates Cup and pretending it’s a real trophy, lads 😛 xx

Haha, it is just banter. I thought the light-hearted tone, daft smiley and kisses would have given it away.

You sound angry. Think you lost the game, my friend x

    • Jack says:

Did you really just refer to us as ‘poo’? Poo? Says it all. These people, I swear – entertainment.

  7. anonymous says:

Of course, thanks Arsenal, for creating a class player who then decided to join the better team.

    • haha chelsea says:

Chelsea aren’t the better team you dumbass. Of course, you only know of the last 5 years don’t you.

      • Luiz's hair stylist says:

Nope. We know longer than that, like the fact Arsenal achieved promotion via corrupt means in 1919 despite finishing 5th in the second division.

        • haha chelsea says:

I don’t know anything about that, because I don’t know anything about it. We stayed in it ever since, and Arsenal are a bigger club than Chelsea. FACT.
Chelsea spending a stupid amount of money seems pretty corrupt. We got lucky getting promotion then, you got lucky winning every title since abramovich took over, and you still play tedious boring football.

    • BranaFan says:

We have broken records with our tedious and boring football. You lot are so touchy and it has been proved by your seige mentality response to jokey banter.

By the way, for the majority of your existence you have been a hoof-ball side, hence the old nickname of ‘boring Arsenal’. You say we’d be nothing without Abramovich, we you’d be nothing without Wenger right now. It’s not the Arsenal way, it’s Wenger’s way.

You ‘think’ we’re corrupt, therefor we must be? Haha I’m pretty sure any top flight club in the world is corrupt in some way, but can’t prove so.

      • haha chelsea says:

We’d actually won quite a lot of trophies before Wenger, Chelsea had done almost nothing before Abramovich

  8. Gary says:

If Abramovich wants a dynamic team for years to come two things must happen: First he must replace his aging players with others in the 20 to 23 age bracket. David Luiz and Ramires are good examples. They are already so much faster than the rest of the team. Second he must remove Ancelotti and bring in Mourinho. This will not only be a big hit with all the fans, it will also restore Chelsea’s ability to win the league with consistency.

    • Luiz's hair stylist says:

Bring in Jose? He’ll ruin the likes of McEachran like he did to Mikel.

The Chelski boys, they win nothing for decades and then try to make out that they are one of the biggest teams in the world after spending millions and winning a few trophies, what rubbish. Cashley was made into the player he is today at Arsenal. Arse-scum what a muppet, 48 matches unbeaten etc etc etc plus trophies plus a crop of players coming through that will leave the Blues dreaming about winning another trophy for decades to come unless they want to spend another £200 mil and add to their already record wage bill and their debts

  10. PrideofLondon says:

Ars*-holes who makes trophy cabinets for one trophy?, more like a cubby hole haha. You want to talk about youth, but didn’t Chelsea beat Arsenal recently in Youth FA Cup and Reserves? Banter all you want, but THE only team in London has a brighter future and its going to be a BLUE day again! Don’t hate on the fact Ashley Cole wanted to play for a better team and know what it feels like to win trophies…why do you think Fabregas wants to leave? Since you w*****s don’t want to talk about history let me be the first to congratulate you all on not winning the League, getting beat by United in the FA Cup, and losing to Barcelona at Camp Nou, getting bounced out of Champions League. SO let me get this straight another season gone and no trophy to show for it! One day you’ll be able to upgrade to a shelf to place ribbons or notes from your mommas. Gooner = Trophyless. Love, The PRIDE of London!

gooners crybabies eleven mate. their youth team just got whipped by us, i don’t think these losers follow that .. KTBFFH

      • haha chelsea says:

You clearly know nothing about Arsenal’s youth and reserve set-up.
Our u16’s play for our u18’s and our u18’s play for the reserves with the leftover players usually getting loaned out or adding a bit of strength to the reserves FACT
