Newcastle United are being warned they could lose yet another star player after reports emanated that Chelsea and Manchester United could target Cheik Tiote.

The Ivory Coast midfielder, who struck a fantastic volley against Arsenal on Saturday, has impressed this season and has been called one of the signings of the summer.

Yesterday, Alan Pardew claimed he would like to keep hold of Tiote if possible.

Newcastle lost star striker Andy Carroll to Liverpool on deadline day for £35m.
