Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to air their delight over Frank Lampard being nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award.

Coupled with their impressive league form, Lampard’s side also confounded the odds at apuestas24.mx and picked up Champions League victories against Lille and Ajax, both away from Stamford Bridge (via BBC).

With the 41-year-old picking up a Premier League Manager of the Month nomination for the second month in a row (per Premier League), supporters were pleased to see the Englishman being recognised for the side’s good form.

What do we think?

With the Blues’ 100% Premier League record for October (via BBC), Lampard will be in with a good shout of securing the accolade.

The month also saw the Blues jump from sixth to fourth, finishing October in a Champions League qualification spot, which should favour Lampard kindly.
