Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to air their love for former Blues midfielder, Ramires.
In a post to the club’s official Twitter account on Wednesday, the Blues re-shared a goal the Brazilian 31-year-old scored in a narrow 5-4 thriller against Manchester United in 2012.
With the silky assist from Eden Hazard and the clever finish from Ramires recapturing the hearts of supporters, many were reminiscing over the midfielder’s talents.

The Brazilian played 251 games for the Blues, scoring 34 and assisting 25 in the process, before leaving London for Chinese Super League club Jiangsu Suning in 2016 (via The Guardian).
With Blues supporters still reeling from the 31-year-old’s departure, many were left wondering what might have been if the midfielder stayed at Stamford Bridge.

What do we think?
Letting Ramires leave the club during his peak years in 2016 was undoubtedly a mistake, for the club and for the player (via Talksport).
With the 31-year-old leaving Jiangsu Suning in May and signing for Brazilian club Palmeiras (per Transfermarkt), Chelsea fans will just have to wonder what might have been had he stayed at Stamford Bridge.
