Chelsea fans have been airing their opinions about Mason Mount on Twitter and have expressed their belief he has what it takes to be a Stamford Bridge legend.
Following the question posed, by @TheBlues__, to supporters on what they thought of the 20-year-old Englishman – Blues fans jumped at the chance to wax lyrical over the starlet.
Mount has been a revelation this season after being introduced to the first-team set-up by Frank Lampard, with a number of other youngsters (per The Daily Mirror), and fans are delighted with the talent on show.
Unreal technique on his shooting and crossing. Good defensive work rate and pressing. Think he can improve a bit on the weight of his passing in the final third at times.
He has a great attitude and is only going to get better. Very exciting times ahead.

He has everything to be a Chelsea legend. I bet Lampard is working on his Finishing, taking on players and right pass right time. He is brilliant so far. He gets into positions like Lamps but still he is very young. I have big hopes on him

Great talent, might not be eye catching in performance but he is a hardworker knows how to press shooting defending crosses Movements just needs to improve in his final third passes

This season marks the youngsters third in senior professional football and his first within the Chelsea first team, having spent the previous two seasons out on loan with Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem initially, and then Derby County (per Transfermarkt).
In ten Premier League outings this term, the £31.5 million-rated man has netted on four occasions and assisted on a further two (per Transfermarkt), earning himself an average rating of 7.22 in the league (via Whoscored).
Despite some fans’ efforts to pour cold water on the delight over Mount, supporters were keen to stay positive over the 20-year-old.
Apsolute Class, and any alleged Chelsea fan questioning him needs a reality check and a wake up, Lampard knows exactly what he brings to the team out of possession as well as in possession, which the way Chelsea play under Frank is so important, that’s why he is in every game

For those of you criticizing Mount y’all are the same ones that criticized KDB now look where he is. Y’all forget Mount playes exceptional football for his age.

What do we think?
Having worked with one another at Derby County last season, Frank Lampard will know Mount to a greater degree than the majority of the other players in the dressing room – having coached him for a season extra.
Therefore, Lampard will know, to a greater extent, the areas of Mounts game to train and should the pair continue to work together – the 20-year-old certainly has the raw potential to follow in his gaffer’s legendary footsteps.
