Following his Premier League and senior debut for Chelsea against a Sheffield United, Billy Gilmour has signed a new four-year contract with the club.

Billy Gilmour came off the bench in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Sheffield United in late August. At the age of 18, Gilmour has already made his senior debut – which is a magnificent achievement for a player so young.

Despite only recently turning 18 – Gilmour’s birthday is in June – the midfielder has already attained nine appearances for Scotland’s under-21 side. The Scottish youngster made his under-21 debut at the age of 16 – further evidence of his enormous potential.
