Callum Hudson-Odoi is pulling on the heartstrings of many Chelsea fans yet again after tweeting a picture of himself in the new home strip ahead of the upcoming Premier League campaign.
The winger has been embroiled in quite the saga over the summer as he is still yet to officially announce his new contract.
After barely featuring under former boss Maurizio Sarri, the 18-year-old handed in a transfer request which sparked the interest of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Over the summer they submitted a number of bids with the latest a £45m offer.
However according to the BBC, Hudson-Odoi has already signed a new five-year contract extension but no official news has been released as of yet.
His latest tweet has fans reacting in all sorts of ways about his potential impact next season – that’s if the reports are true and he remains at Stamford Bridge.
A couple of supporters said it was the ‘CHOsen One’s’ season, one even questioned who Aaron Wan-Bissaka was after Manchester United broke the bank to sign him for £50m earlier in the summer. Another fan said he will have a big season in filling Eden Hazard’s boots after their star left for Real Madrid.
One member of the Blues faithful jokingly said that he should announce the contract himself – and he even drew comment from his youth teammate Trevoh Chalobah, who told him to simply sign it.
