It was goals galore in Chelsea’s penultimate pre-season friendly before Frank Lampard embarks on his first Premier League campaign as manager. The pick of the bunch was Pedro’s flamboyant flick which left much of the Chelsea fanbase going crazy.
The Blues clinched a 5-3 victory in Austria over RB Salzburg thanks to new signing Christian Pulisic’s first two goals for the club with the other goals coming from Michy Batshuayi and Ross Barkley – who continues to shine this pre-season.
If you haven’t seen Pedro’s goal already then here it is…
Been some good goals today, but this one from Pedro might be the best. Another assist for Barkley https://t.co/cYzcpdSF0e

Plenty of fans flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts on the outstanding goal.
Outrageous. Amazing. Masterpiece. Beauty. These were just four of the hundreds of superlatives used to describe Pedro’s goal.
Others claimed that Manchester United can’t be ready for this ahead of the two sides’ meeting on the opening game of the season in a little over a week’s time.
Another supporter said that Pedro still had that Spanish magic whilst one fan thinks Pedro has already won the Puskas award before the new campaign has even started.
There were even question marks over whether the goal was better than Gianfranco Zola’s deft flick against Norwich back in 2002 – take a look and decide for yourself here.
