BT Sport recently gathered the best brains in the football data game to produce a prediction for the entire 2019/20 Premier League campaign, naming it ‘The Script’ which can be found online here.
Those predictions have Frank Lampard’s Chelsea finishing in fourth position after being top at Christmas but it is David Luiz’s latest comments on Twitter which has pleased a number of fans at Stamford Bridge.
Luiz uploaded a video of him spray painting ‘The Script’ saying that they would make their own destiny this season.
One fan labelled him the best defender at the club which was echoed by another who simply stated he was the most gifted in Europe.
Others praised him for having such an elite mentality with another supporter wanting him to use that anger to fuel his motivation for this season, also calling him a champ.
Some fans were quick to mention that they would probably take fourth place this season considering the circumstances they are operating under – Lampard’s first season as manager in the Premier League; the club’s transfer ban.
A number of the Blues faithful also showed their love for the Brazilian centre-back, brandishing him a hero as well as a geezer.
