On Wednesday, Chelsea drew 1-1 with Irish Premier League side Bohemians in Frank Lampard’s first game in charge of Chelsea.


Michy Batshuayi opened the scoring in the 8th minute, to score the first goal of Lampard’s reign as Chelsea manager. However, trialist Eric Molloy drew Bohemians level 89th minute to ensure Lampard’s first game ended in a draw.

Lampard started last night game with a 4-2-3-1 formation, one of his two preferred formations he used at Derby County last season.

The team saw a mixture of senior and youth players, with Cesar Azpilicueta, Michy Batshuayi, Pedro, and Willy Caballero all starting.

The result was met with some frustration from former striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who slammed the performance.

Some fans were also far from pleased with the performance, and let their feelings be known on Twitter after the game.
