Arjen Robbe has announced he will retire from football, after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season.
Robben has enjoyed a great career during his time in European football, best remembered for his time at Bayern Munich and Chelsea.
The Dutch international has won multiple major honours with both clubs, however, after announcing his retirement Chelsea fans couldn’t help but poke fun at the Robben over one specific moment in his career.
In 2012, Bayern Munich played Chelsea at their own home ground in the Champions League final with the Blues winning on penalties.
However, it was an extra-time penalty miss from Robben which was one of the stand-out moments for Chelsea fans. And after Chelsea’s official Twitter account tweeted their good wishes towards it Robben, it seems the Chelsea fans didn’t want to let the former Netherlands international forget that moment.
