Vinnie Jones is best remembered as a member of Wimbledon’s 1988 FA Cup winning side, ‘the Crazy Gang’. However, some of the older demographic among you may also recognise him for his one and only season he spent at Chelsea.
Over the weekend, heartbreaking news broke regarding Jones’s wife, who has passed away as a result of a long illness.
Jones made 39 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea. The club sent their good wishes to the former Wimbledon man with a tweet from the club’s official Twitter account.

After retirement from football, Jones embarked on a career in acting in America and was alongside his wife as she died.
Fans were obviously shocked by the news as they sent their good wishes to Jones.
