Cesar Azpilicueta has enjoyed a stellar Chelsea career, winning multiple major honours, as he has gone on to establish himself as one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League.
However, after a less than impressive season last campaign it seems that fans have had enough of the 29-year-old Spain international.
After commenting on the importance of good leadership, fans flooded the comments of the tweet by the club’s official Twitter account calling for the full-back to be benched for the young full-back, Reece James.

Azpilicueta had a mixed season last campaign assisting five times in all competitions, the joint-most of any Chelsea defender, alongside Marcos Alonso.
James, the man most fans want to replace Apilicueta spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic, where he enjoyed a more than successful loan spell.
