In October 2016, Chelsea signed a then-record sponsorship deal with Nike for around £900m, the largest sponsorship deal in the club’s history. And after images were leaked online of the club’s new kit for the 2019/2020 season, there was a mixed reaction from fans over the choice of designs.
Images of four different shirts were tweeted out by a fan, as the user applauded the effort from Nike for the upcoming season.

The kits leaks come a day after Chelsea drew their first pre-season fixture away to Irish side Bohemians, after conceding an 89th-minute equaliser.
Here is a selection of tweets from fans with opinions firmly split on the designs for next season:
Buttons give me PTSD of 15/16 though, that’s my only fault????
