This summer has been all about comebacks for Chelsea.
First Petr Cech made his return to Chelsea as a technical and performance advisor, following four years away at Arsenal, and his retirement from football after the 4-1 drubbing of Arsenal in the Europa League final.
Then Frank Lampard made a return to Chelsea after he was announced as the club’s new manager, taking over from Maurizio Sarri, who left for Juventus.
Jody Morris then completed a hat-trick of returns when he followed Lampard to Chelsea, being appointed his assistant manager. Morris played 160 games for Chelsea, winning three trophies at the club.
After Morris posted two separate photos of him and Lampard during their playing and most recent managerial days on Thursday, fans showed a lot of love.
