After being stopped from making signings due to a transfer ban, picking the starting eleven has got much harder for new boss Frank Lampard, after retaining the same inconsistent squad from last season.
However, after a tweet from a fan on Twitter, some of the fans decided they knew exactly who should start in midfield next season.
The midfield options comprised of Ross Barkley, N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, and Mason Mount. Fans couldn’t agree on one set of three midfielders after four images were tweeted out by a fan.

After the problems in midfield last season, fans will be hoping for far better performances next season. Out of the five options in midfield, Mount scored the most goals last season, scoring 11 times in the Championship, while on-loan at Derby County last season.
