In 2012 there were some big transfers in the Premier League.
Robin van Persie completed a £24 million move from Arsenal to rivals Manchester United, and Eden Hazard, who was also being chased by both Manchester clubs, made a move to Chelsea for £32 million.
Sky Sports decided to start a debate among Chelsea and Manchester United fans after asking fans of the two clubs, which of the two stars was the better signing back in 2012.

The debate has raged on Twitter, with Chelsea and Manchester United fans both arguing their cases. However, Chelsea fans seem determined to label Hazard as the better signing.
Hazard was one of Chelsea’s stand-out performers during his seven years at the club, scoring 110 goals in 352 games, as the Belgian won six major honours at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fans seemed determined not to accept Van Persie as the better signing. Here is a selection of tweets from Blues fans after the poll by Sky Sports:

And that’s all he did at the club, won nothing else, 26 mill for a one season player, or 32 mill for 7 seasons and sell for profit. Hazard wins by a country mile.
