Alvaro Morata didn’t enjoy the best of spells at Chelsea, and it looks like the Spanish striker’s Stamford Bridge nightmare is about to come to an end.
According to The Telegraph, Atletico Madrid are preparing to make a bid for the 26-year-old, who joined the Spanish club on an 18-month loan deal in January.
Morata endured a nightmare Chelsea career scoring just 24 goals in 72 appearances for the club since joining in 2017 for a then club record fee of £60 million.
