It’s been three years since N’Golo Kante swapped the Midlands for London. In that time the France international has won three trophies, forming part of Chelsea’s midfield.

Squawka tweeted out a celebratory tweet about Kante and his three-year anniversary on Tuesday morning, and fans were in reminiscing mood over the Frenchman’s time at Stamford Bridge.


Kante has enjoyed a superb three years at Chelsea winning the Premier Leaguethe FA Cup and the Europa League. As well as club honours, Kante won the World Cup with France in the summer of 2018.

It hasn’t been all sunshine and roses for Kante at Chelsea. The 27-year-old struggled last season as he was pushed further forward by manager Maurizio Sarri to accommodate then new signing Jorginho.

After a season of struggle, Lampard looks set to start next season in his more natural defensive midfield position under new boss Frank Lampard, after the 41-year-old said he knew exactly were to play Kante, thankfully.
