With Frank Lampard having been linked with Chelsea for a number of weeks, many fans thought the signing would’ve been confirmed by now.
However, the saga continues to drag on with fresh developments on Monday. Derby County announced that they had given Lampard the first two days of pre-season off so that talks can continue with regards to a move to his former club Chelsea.
However, following a report from the Daily Mirror that Lampard will be confirmed as the new Chelsea manager in the next 48 hours, Chelsea fans aren’t too pleased.
