Chelsea’s contract saga of the summer looks set to be coming to a happy ending. Callum Hudson-Odoi posted an image of him playing during a Chelsea game last season without any caption or any words at all – though for some fans, this was enough to suggest that the winger has signed a new deal to remain at Stamford Bridge.

The BBC report that this is very much the case, stating the 18-year-old is going to sign a five-year extension worth more than £100k-a-week before the season begins in just a couple of weeks time. The starlet is currently out with an Achilles injury which he suffered against Burnley back in April but could be back in September.
A number of Chelsea fans shared their thoughts on social media as it appears the teenager is set to stay at the club. Some fans called him the CHOsen one, incorporating his name in a clever way whilst one supporter simply labelled him a king.
Others wanted to show their appreciation for the England international saying he was destined for the very top and that great things are to come as a Chelsea player for many years.
