Chelsea ended their time in Japan with an impressive 2-1 victory over Barcelona with both Tammy Abraham and Ross Barkley on the scoresheet – it was the former’s opener which had some supporters going ballistic on social media. There was even a start for Christian Pulisic whilst a debut was given to Barcelona’s new man Antoine Griezmann.

The game’s breakthrough came ten minutes before half-time as Jorginho pounced on a rare Sergio Busquets mistake to slot through Abraham as he duly rounded Marc-Andre ter Stegen to put The Blues one-up. His goal caused jubilation amongst the Chelsea support.

One supporter was quick to suggest the 21-year-old would bag 30 goals in his first full season in England’s top-flight as Chelsea’s leading man whilst another fan even labelled the striker better than his opposite number Griezmann. Abraham was also given the tag of the best striker in the league.

Abraham’s contribution was huge after he netted 26 goals in 40 appearances. The season before last, the striker had a loan spell in the Premier League as Swansea were relegated but he could manage five goals in 31 matches.

Some fans starting throwing about potential achievements with one suggesting they will win the league this season and another stating they are going to win the Champions League – even if it is a tad tongue in cheek.

Here’s the best of the reaction from Abraham’s strike against Barcelona:
