It’s finally been announced, Rafael Benitez has left Newcastle United after failing to agree on personal terms for a new contract. Benitez remains a talented and highly regarded manager, so the question remains, where will Benitez manage next?
Well, it seems that some fans wouldn’t mind seeing the Newcastle manager take up the hot seat at Stamford Bridge once again. It seems that some fans would rather see an experienced manager over the likes of Frank Lampard, who according to TalkSport, is only days away from becoming Chelsea’s new manager.

Benitez has already served one stint as Chelsea manager way back in the 2012/2013 season after the sacking of Roberto Di Matteo. However, Benitez enjoys a frosty relationship with Chelsea fans after he made less the complimentary comments back when he was Liverpool manager.
It proved to be a successful spell for Benitez who won the Europa League for the club after a 2-1 win over the Portuguese side Benfica in Amsterdam.
