Derby enjoyed a stellar year in the Championship last season, narrowly losing 2-1 to Aston Villa in the play-off final at Wembley. However, it seems the relationship is about to come to an amicable end with Lampard moving back to Stamford Bridge.
Lampard enjoyed a brilliant career at Chelsea playing more than 600 games, as he finished his career as the club’s top scorer.
