Fans were reacting after Rudiger posted a short tweet to Sarri which thanked him for what he had taught the German international during his sole season in the Stamford Bridge hot-seat.
The fans were delighted with a number of fans believing the 26-year-old is future captain material following his goodbye message to departing Chelsea manager Mauricio Sarri.

Rudiger enjoyed a stunning season with Chelsea winning the Europa League, reaching the Carabao Cup final, and finishing third in the Premier League.
It might have been just a simple message of thanks for Sarri’s work at the club, however, Chelsea fans think it could have future repercussions for Rudiger and his time at Chelsea.
