Callum Hudson-Odoi enjoyed a good debut season in the Chelsea first team, scoring six goals and assisting a further seven in all competitions. While those stats don’t sound the best, you need to remember that Hudson-Odoi is just 18-years-old.
Hudson-Odoi’s introduction into the first-team took a long while, and the 18-year-old didn’t make regular Premier League appearances till the second half of the campaign, where he played in four consecutive Premier League games in April, his longest run of the season.
So, having sold Eden Hazard and being unable to sign players in the next two transfer windows, Chelsea fans will be begging for the quick return to action from Hudson-Odoi.
Well, there might be some good news for fans. The club’s official Twitter account tweeted out a video of Hudson-Odoi already engaging in some light training with a ball.

Fans were joyous at the seemingly quick return for Hudson-Odoi, who was reportedly scheduled to be out for almost six months after his injury versus West Ham.
