After proving to have such a successful season last year, Chelsea may be looking to push on to bigger and better things next season.
However, after being hit with a transfer ban and losing manager Maurizio Sarri to Italian champions Juventus, you’d think Chelsea fans would be a bit more pessimistic about the upcoming season.
That’s not the case, and fans remain as positive as ever that the potentially incoming Frank Lampard can lead Chelsea into a new era of success right from the off come August.
With the standards set so high last season, fans were asked where the team could realistically finish in the Premier League next season by Sky Sports. While rival fans seemingly hijacked the poll and voted for Chelsea to finish in the Europa League places, fans in the comments were more than confident of at least a top-four finish.
