Victor Moses is considering leaving Chelsea in January if his first-team opportunities do not improve, Goal reports.

The 27-year-old Nigeria international established himself as a key player during Antonio Conte’s reign at Stamford Bridge, shining in a wing-back role, but Maurizio Sarri’s arrival has sent Moses tumbling down the pecking order.

With no clear spot in Sarri’s 4-3-3 formation, Moses is the latest player to be linked with an exit from the club in January in hunt of regular first-team action – joining the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Gary Cahill, Andreas Christensen and Cesc Fabregas as edging towards the exit door.

Moses has featured just twice in the Premier League so far this season, making one more appearance in the Europa League, having found himself behind the likes of Pedro, Willian and Eden Hazard for a wide berth in the Blues’ side.

Valued at £18m by TransferMarktChelsea could expect to earn a healthy sum of cash if a sale is approved.
