Borussia Dortmund are eyeing a move for Chelsea starlet Callum Hudson-Odoi as they hunt the next generation of English talents, according to The Mirror.

The Bundesliga side have seen Jadon Sancho shine since moving on a free transfer from Manchester City in 2017 while Reiss Nelson has excelled on-loan with Hoffenheim from Arsenal, presenting a new avenue for young Brits developing their career.

Dortmund are keen on following this model in the upcoming transfer windows and Hudson-Odoi has been named as one of three talents that the Bundesliga title-hopefuls are targeting, alongside Manchester City’s Phil Foden and Liverpool’s Bobby Duncan.

17-year-old Hudson-Odoi earned two Premier League appearances for Chelsea last season but is yet to feature in a competitive match since Maurizio Sarri, despite being highly-rated behind the scenes in West London.

Contracted until June 2020, Hudson-Odoi is entering the final 18 months of his contract and Dortmund may feel they have an opportunity to lure him away from the Premier League with the promise of regular first-team football.
