Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi has admitted he will consider options to leave the Italian side, speaking to Radio Onda Cero as cited by CalcioMercato.

The Argentina striker has been identified by Maurizio Sarri as the ideal option to bolster the Blues’ attacking options in January, with Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud both struggling to establish themselves at Stamford Bridge.

Icardi, who has scored four goals and contributed two assists in seven Serie A appearances this season, has caught the eye in the Champions League by scoring two goals in two matches – including a dramatic late winner against Tottenham at the San Siro.

While Inter are determined to retain the services of their leading man, Icardi has confirmed he will consider any offers he receives to leave – but insisted he is happy with his current surroundings.

“There are many voices, when offers will come we’ll evaluate them, but I’m very happy here at Inter.”
