Chelsea star Eden Hazard has suggested he is considering moving to Spain in order to help his chances of winning the Ballon D’Or, according to quotes published by Sky Sports.
The Belgium international has widely been linked with a move to join Real Madrid and speculation linking him with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu continues amidst his contract situation, as he is yet to sign a fresh agreement.
With the last ten winners of the Ballon D’Or having all come from LaLiga, Hazard was asked if he needs to move to Spain to win the accolade and replied:
“That’s why I want to go – maybe.”
However, Hazard added that he will not leave the club in January and has entered the international break on a superb run of form after scoring eight goals in ten matches across all competitions – standing as the top-scorer in the Premier League this season.
