Juventus are considering a summer bid for Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website reports that Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri is a big admirer of the France international, although he is very aware that the chances of signing him are slim.

In addition to Kante, the Bianconeri are also believed to be fans of Real Madrid playmaker Isco and the two players are said to be at the top of the club’s wishlist for new signings.

The Serie A champions are increasingly ambitious following the €100m signing of Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer. They are, though, likely to be disappointed in their attempts to sign the French midfielder.

Kante only recently revealed that he had turned down overtures from Paris Saint-Germain. Following the World Cup, the Ligue One club made contact to let the midfielder know they were interested in him. The 27-year-old was, however, happy to stay at Stamford Bridge. He told RMC Sport (translated by the Express):

“There was some contact with PSG, yes. However, after a discussion with the club, I realised that the main thing for me was to feel good where I was then and am now. I am with Chelsea – staying with Chelsea is good for me.”

Kante has played the full 90 minutes in all five league games this season, helping Maurizio Sarri’s men to a 100% start to the campaign.
