Chelsea and Tottenham have joined Arsenal and Inter Milan in the race to sign Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Mirror had reported that the wide man was a target for the Gunners with the player believed to be valued at £20m by his club.

Sarr generally plays on the left wing, and cuts in onto his stronger right foot. He has been compared to Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele due to his pace and dribbling skills.

The Senegalese international only signed for Rennes last summer for €17m, turning down a move to Barca at the time with the player saying that the transfer came “too early.”

Last season in Ligue One, Sarr scored five goals and contributed five assists in 24 league appearances but he was hampered by a torn tendon which kept him out for the best part of three months.

However, he has started this campaign in great form, hitting the back of net three times in just seven games.
